UK Weather Alert 2026

Weather forecasts indicate that snow and falling temperatures will arrive in parts of the UK soon. WXCharts maps using MetDesk data show purple and white colors that suggest snow is coming to the country. Other maps display icy blue shades representing cold weather and confirm that freezing temperatures as low as -4C will accompany the snowfall. Even though it is currently spring people in Britain have experienced colder weather than usual over the past few weeks.

The Met Office has mentioned that unsettled conditions might return toward the end of the month. WXCharts predicts that April 25 could feel like a winter day particularly in Scotland and northern England. Snow is expected to begin at midnight with maps showing a large purple area across the Scottish Highlands including Aberdeen and the North East. The maps also show snow stretching from the Scottish borders down to Stoke-on-Trent although it should be light in the Greater Manchester to Staffordshire areas.
